Family Visits

The Regal is the perfect place for a day out with your family! Whether you’re visiting to watch the latest films, coming to one of our family live shows or having lunch in The 1936 Café Bar, we hope the following information will help you to plan your visit.

Ticket Information

Please check individual films for BBFC age ratings, details of what the ratings mean can be found on our FAQs webpage.

A discounted family ticket is available on all of our film screenings. These tickets admit 2 adults and 2 children or 1 adult and 3 children. If coming in a group larger than 4, additional individual tickets may be purchased for the other members of your party.

Children under the age of 3 may attend film screenings for free if seated on a parent or guardian’s lap. Please note, the child will not have their own seat unless this is paid for with a child ticket.

Our Pocket Money Movies screenings make a family trip to the cinema even more accessible to all with tickets costing just £2.50 per person. These screenings feature family favourite films and take place on Saturday and Sunday mornings and throughout the school holidays. Look out for the "PMM" tag on film times on our "What's On" page to find out what's showing!

At the box office you'll find our kids combo deal - a small fizzy drink, water or fruit shoot and a small sweet or salted popcorn for just £3.25.

The 1936 Café Bar offers a children’s menu, featuring a wide variety of tasty lunch options, with vegan, vegetarian, dairy free and gluten free options available.

Facilities

Booster seats are available free of charge from the foyer, these are offered on a first come first served basis and we ask that these are returned after you are finishing using them, thank you.

Baby changing facilities are available in both of our accessible toilets, one to the side of the foyer and one behind The 1936 Café Bar.
