The Goonies 40th anniversary will be celebrated with special screenings of the classic adventure film, marking four decades since its original release.
The Goonies, a group of adventurous kids, face the threat of their homes being destroyed by a property development company. To save their neighbourhood, they embark on a treasure hunt, following a map they found in Mikey's attic. This map leads them on an exciting adventure into underground caverns, booby traps, and a sunken galleon in search of One-Eyed Willy's treasure. Along the way, they encounter the Fratelli family, a group of criminals also after the treasure. The Goonies must outsmart the Fratellis and navigate the dangerous obstacles to find the treasure and save their homes.
