Every third Wednesday of the month, a specially selected independent/arthouse film will be screened which offers our customers something different from the usual mainstream film schedule. Set in New York City's renowned High School of Performing Arts, Fame follows a group of aspiring dancers, singers, actors, and musicians as they navigate the challenges of friendship, ambition, love, and self-discovery while pursuing their dreams of a career in the performing arts. Featuring unforgettable songs, high-energy dance numbers, and powerful storytelling, this inspiring musical celebrates the dedication, passion, and resilience required to achieve success.

This production is particularly special for Bravo Theatre Workshops, as it marks the first time our performers have been accompanied by a live band. Through a variety of fundraising events and the incredible support of our families and local community, our students have worked tirelessly to help make this exciting opportunity possible.

Packed with heart, humour, and spectacular performances, Fame The Musical is a celebration of young talent, determination, and the courage to follow your dreams.

Comedy Nights at The Regal

Funhouse Comedy Club returns to The Regal, Stowmarket on Thurs Jul 9th for another night full of fun and laughter.

 

Topping the bill is the quirky James Dowdeswell who has appeared on such TV shows as ‘Russell Howard’s Good News’, ‘Celebrity Deal Or No Deal’ and who also played The Count in Ricky Gervais’ ‘Extras’. His intelligent and inventive storytelling is delivered from a slightly strange perspective, which is both entertaining and captivating.

 

Opening the night will be Indian Geordie, Raul Kohli, a finalist in English
Comedian of the Year and nominee for Best Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival. A bubbly, high-energy comic with very comical stories about his culture and upbringing.

 

Completing the line-up is the warm and friendly Dawn Bailey with her honest and amusing no-holds-barred anecdotes.

 

Compere for the night will be Martin Westgate who appeared on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ and made the judges chuckle with cheeky digs at David Walliams.
